I ran into a bumper crop of of interesting links this week; so rather than sharing them in drips and drabs, I gathered them up together for your reading perusal.

So this might seem obvious to some of you, put I didn’t have a clue how to do this until I read her post.  Thank you!!!  Her site is full of awesomeness.

• Encyclopedia Mythica  “The award-winning internet encyclopedia of mythology, folklore, and religion.”

Not sure how I haven’t stumbled upon this before, but it’s a really cool site!  I spent a good chunk of my Monday morning lost in folklore.

An excellent site if you’re researching the Victorian Period, lots of images. 

• HelenStringer.net  Author Helen Stringer’s website.

I finished reading her book, “Spellbinder,”  Sunday night.  Really interesting read if you’re in the mood for a mystery/ghost story.  It’s a YA novel, but not something that’s strictly for kids.  Regardless, you need to check out her website.  Holy cats! It’s one of the best I’ve seen.  Make sure you “click” on the red door.  Her website is really well put together.

A hard look at the images you see of celebrities in Ads and in Magazines.  I really like the before and after shots.  YES.  Real women DO have curves, even famous ones.

PS  If you’re spamming me links to nude pics of Lady Gaga…yeah…I don’t really need those.  In fact, I’m going to go out on a limb on this one, I don’t think anyone really needs or wants links spammed to them of naked celebrities, or anyone else.  I mean, I get it.  You’re trying throw a nice virus onto everyone’s computer, who knows why, and that seemed like a great way to get people to pop on over.  But I’m not a Lady Gaga fan.  Never have been.  I’m more of a Cake, The Shins, Beck kind of gal.
