A #BlogTag: 7 Lines from the 7th Page

I was tagged by Lauralynn Elliot.  Thanks!  I love blog tags.

1. Go to page 7 or 77 in your current manuscript
2. Go to line 7
3. Copy down the next seven lines as they are – no cheating
4. Tag 7 other authors

This is from page 77 of the manuscript I’ve been working on.  It STILL does not have a name.  It lost the title when I broke my story up into two books, but “nameless book” has been a fun one.  🙂

“You know why I didn’t say anything,” I said.

“Men change, especially ones facing their own mortality.  What of the child?  Is she protected?”

“She’s…she’s somewhere safe.”  I peaked my head out the door, and made sure Chloe was out of earshot.

“You’re certain of this?”

“Absolutely,” I answered, though I didn’t feel as confident as I sounded.  “What kind of person do you think I am?”

“Do you really want me to answer that?”

OK, now to pick on 7 other victims…err…talented individuals!  If nothing else, check out the links to their blogs!

  4. Sue
  5. Barb
