Fangirl Morning

Quick post. I’m on Twitter this morning and THIS pic at the top of my feed:

*Writer Neil Gaiman and actress Kim Rhodes of the show Supernatural!!!

If you didn’t know this already, Neil Gaiman is one of my FAVORITE authors. Supernatural is one of my favorite shows. I don’t have any context regarding this pic. I know that Neil Gaiman has been in London. I think he’s still on the set of Good Omens. I know Kim Rhodes is part of the campaign to save the Supernatural spinoff, Wayward Sisters. (CW decided not to make it. Sigh!!!) I know that Neil Gaiman has retweeted the petition to save Wayward Sisters. But seeing this pic…has made me go from being a grown woman to being a giggly fifteen-year-old girl in a matter of seconds. In fact, I was squealing so loudly, my hubby wanted to know what was wrong!  LOL

So yeah…It’s time for me to get off the Internet. I don’t see how it can get any better today!!! LOL

xo Juli

PS If you would like to sign the petition (I did) here’s the link:

    1. Neil Gaiman is such a great writer. He’s done SOOO many things: Coraline, The Ocean at the End of the Lane, The Graveyard Book… He wrote one of my FAVORITE episodes of Dr Who: The Doctor’s Wife. (Season 6, Episode 4) I just finished reading Trigger Warnings, a collection of poems and short stories by Neil Gaiman. (Spoilers: the book is charming, like reading a hug, and NOT trigger inducing at all! LOL)

  1. I like SUPERNATURAL, and I signed the petition. I like Kim Rhodes’s work, and if she’s in it then I’m sold. Posted on FB, too. Certainly, I know Gaiman’s work, having read THE GRAVEYARD BOOK recently and THE OCEAN AT THE END OF THE LANE not so long ago. Has he written for (either) SUPERNATURAL series? I’m glad you’re enthused and hope you’re really well, overall.

    1. Thank you!

I am doing well and I see you’ve been posting LOTS of poetry on your site!!! I’ve enjoyed reading it. 🙂

To my knowledge, Neil Gaiman hasn’t written for Supernatural, but it’s always for when interests dovetail. You never know WHAT the future will hold!!!
