I’m not going to lie, when I saw that Lauren Graham had written a new book—In Conclusion, Don’t Worry About It—I’d hoped this book would be longer. This book was adapted from a commencement speech the author gave in 2017 at Langley High, Lauren Graham’s alma mater.
This video isn’t that great, but you can hear clips of Lauren Graham giving parts of her speech:
If you’re a fan of Lauren Graham’s work or you’re looking for a gift for a graduating student, you might like this book. It’s cute and illustrated by the author. However, Talking As Fast As I Can contains a LOT more content. If you could only choose one book, I’d suggest Talking As Fast As I Can, but that’s just my opinion.
I did like this quote:
Don’t be perfect, just be DONE!”
― Lauren Graham, In Conclusion, Don’t Worry About It
I’m learning to follow this advice. Easier said than applied, but I am getting better.
This more of a “gifty” type of book, small enough to slip into a pocket or purse, easy enough to read in an afternoon.
