I had it all planned out.  I was going to post pictures of today’s adventures.  There were going to be ice sculptures and “Walmart” sled dogs, and then, well…Michigan had its mid-January thaw.  While it was cold and breezy out, we didn’t get any snow.  This is Michigan.  The weather changes faster around here than a teenage girl changes outfits!  It can be 60°F one day and three days later, it can be 20°F or colder.  That’s Michigan!  The Great Lakes do strange things to our weather patterns.  Around here, this is normal.

I did take pictures.  They weren’t the ones I thought I’d be taking, but here they are for your viewing pleasure.

There was supposed to be an igloo village. No snow, so this one's made out of empty milk jugs. Ummm...yeah. You've got to appreciate the creativity that went into making it. :)

Every festival HAS to have a petting zoo!

From what I could tell, they had a nice turnout.  Very successful family outing.

Have a great day!
