I had it all planned out. I was going to post pictures of today’s adventures. There were going to be ice sculptures and “Walmart” sled dogs, and then, well…Michigan had its mid-January thaw. While it was cold and breezy out, we didn’t get any snow. This is Michigan. The weather changes faster around here than a teenage girl changes outfits! It can be 60°F one day and three days later, it can be 20°F or colder. That’s Michigan! The Great Lakes do strange things to our weather patterns. Around here, this is normal.
I did take pictures. They weren’t the ones I thought I’d be taking, but here they are for your viewing pleasure.

They gave us a coupon, very nice.

From what I could tell, they had a nice turnout. Very successful family outing.
Have a great day!

Looks like fun even without snow 😉 our weather is just as crazy down here… I think it’s a middle of the country problem!

Maybe. Snow. No snow. We were going, regardless. 🙂

We have all kinds of weather here. Five days of rain, then snow, then sunny days. Just weird. I like that the festival happened regardless of the weather. Where there’s a will….

I’m glad they didn’t cancel. Watching kids attempt to cross-county ski across the grass…priceless! 😉
